Our History

Caradoc Presbyterian Church has the privilege of holding the histories of four local congregations, North Caradoc PC (Strathroy-Caradoc), St. Andrew’s PC (Mnt.Brydges), Mnt. Brydges Hungarian PC (Mnt. Brydges) and Knox PC (Komoka).  We celebrate the Presbyterian mission and community that has a long history which began in the 1850’s.

A brief history of our congregations can be read by clicking the link below.

Brief History of North Caradoc, St. Andrew’s, Mnt. Brydges Hungarian and Knox

And to continue our history in the future we are joyful and thankful that in 2016 Rev. Michelle (Shelly) Butterfield-Kocis answered God’s call to lead his church here and offer her talents and gifts to serve the community of the North Caradoc- St. Andrew’s / Knox Pastoral Charge. We are blessed to have her family Franck, Franceska and Jakob join our family and we pray that they feel as blessed to grow and share our faith all together.

In 2019, Rev. Michelle (Shelly) Butterfield-Kocis agreed to continue in her call to serve God’s call to our amalgamated congregations. Together we look forward to sharing in the mission and ministry of Caradoc Presbyterian Church.
