Church News and Service Information for August 11, 2024

Dear Friends,

I would like to begin with an announcement regarding the move of our dear church friends, Bev and Murray Bailey. They will soon be relocating to a new home in Nova Scotia. Over the years, we have witnessed their faithfulness to the Lord and their love for the Church. As a church and community, we will greatly miss them and wish them God’s special blessing during this transition. A farewell fellowship for them, with goodies, coffee, and tea, will be held after the service in the church basement. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Additionally, I invite you and your loved ones to join our hybrid worship service at St. Andrew’s Fenelon Falls and via Zoom on Sunday, August 11, 2024. We will continue exploring a new series, “Prayer Warrior,” focusing on the importance of healing prayers through King Hezekiah for those close to us and ourselves.

Our sacred gathering will commence at 10:00 a.m., both in-person and via live-streaming, and will conclude around 11:00 a.m.

“Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord… Before Isaiah had left the middle court, the word of the Lord came to him: “Go back and tell Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you… I will add fifteen years to your life. And I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for my sake and for the sake of my servant David” (2 Kings 20:2-6).

Blessings,

Caleb
